The 46th Image awards were held yesterday in California. It was a fun show hosted by Anthony Anderson from his opening number set to “Uptown Funk”. The crowd was not uptight, laughs were not held back and it seemed like a good time. Black.ish, Selma and Taraji P Henson had a good night with Taraji P Henson named as Entertainer of the year (personally, I think it should have been Kevin Hart). We are here for the red carpet, which was pretty so let’s get to it.

Simple but very pretty look for Kerry Washington

Teyonah Parris. I wish her hair wasn’t so prom-ish.

Laurence Fishburne and wife, Gina Torres. wish she had a more glamorous look.

something about Uzo Aduba’s dresses is always off.

Much better than the SAG awards. hair and makeup nice but her stylists still need to do better.

Demetria from RHOA came in her most glamorous origami dress.

Carmen Ejogo at 42, slaying this white cutout number.

I like Gabrielle Union’s dress. pretty color. pretty everything.

Wendy Racquel Robinson. Umm..okay. hate the hair.

Garcelle Beauvais. Nope. Not working at all.

This is one of Chandra Wilson’s better looks.

So glad this is not a “lifeboat” scenario – you actually get to take the whole family!I always make tagging completely optional because I know some people love it and others dread seeing their name on the list. 🙂
